As a brand, we always endeavour to make choices that favour the greenest alternatives and we wanted to share a few of the last initiatives we’ve set in motion.
Animal welfare and cruelty-free products have gathered more and more awareness in recent years. When you think about it, it sounds like an unnecessary cruel practice, which begs the question, why is it still going on and what alternatives are out there?
“Ambergris” is often mentioned in perfumery but seems to be one of those words with a veil of mystery. What is it? What is it used for? What is it controversial and is there natural, vegan and cruelty-free alternative?
Essential oils can be described as the essence of the plant it is extracted from and are a key component of our natural perfumes. Though we mainly use them for their scents, essential oils are also famous for their use in aromatherapy and other forms of alternative medicine.
If it’s legal, it has to be safe, right? Unfortunately, most cosmetics, including perfumes, contain synthetic chemicals. And just because such synthetics are everywhere doesn’t mean they can’t harmful to our health.
